This course is designed primarily for the student enrolled in the LAS: Science program who intends to transfer upon graduation. This course serves as the continuation of an introduction to the study of college-level biology covering the the principles of evolution, the classification and diversity of life, plant and animal structure and function and the interrelationships between organisms and the environment. Students may not receive credit for both this course and SC 142. Offered spring semesters only. Prerequisite(s): SC 155
