This course is designed to increase knowledge about trauma as a continuum of wellness through the exploration of the different types of trauma, symptomology, empirical research on early indicators and trauma informed interventions. This course will maximize a student’s knowledge in trauma informed influences and approaches that directly impact prospective engagement within the human services field. Offered spring semester. Prerequisite(s): HS 111 with a C or better, SS 151 and SS 161.
