ECM 201 - Emergency Management: Incident Management

This course will discuss incident management practices, tools, and standards, ranging from the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the Incident Command System (ICS), the Post-Katrina Emergency Management Reform Act (PKEMRA), emergency operations centers (EOCs), response core capabilities, and the National Response Framework. This course will include a number of case studies and engagement activities. As part of this course students will also complete FEMA’s IS-800 course.
