This course will provide participants with the information and tools needed to prepare a continuity of operations (COOP) plan for a business or organization. Participants will review and analyze standards such as NFPA 1600: Standard on Continuity, Emergency, and Crisis Management; and FEMA’s Continuity Guidance Circular. Topics will include conducting a threat and hazard assessment, identification of mission essential functions, conducting a business impact analysis, and COOP plan development.
