This course for the ESL student at the advanced level focuses on the development of more sophisticated writing skills, including research skills. Assignments exploring the various traditional rhetorical forms emphasize organization and the coherent development of ideas. The course includes a review of the basic sentence patterns of English and their more complex variations. This course does not satisfy any graduation requirements.
