IS 120 - Fundamentals of Program Development

The student will acquire the capabilities of programming, logic, and application development using an object-oriented programming language. Emphasis will be placed on problem analysis, documentation, and developing programs to meet given specifications. Topics include: classes and objects, methods and properties, explicit data type conversions, input validation, sequence, selection, repetition, functions, and arrays. Students will complete several projects to reinforce programming concepts. Offered fall semesters only.
