MA 254 - Math Modeling of Systems

This course provides a thorough study in the application of mathematical techniques for the modeling of a system. Students are engaged in translating the physical systems observed in business and science into a set of equations which describe the system. Students will construct a mathematical model on a topic of their choice. A portion of the course includes computer applications. Prerequisite(s): MA 245 and MA 246 or permission of instructor
